Product overview

TuneHarbor is an iPhone app for guitar and ukulele tuning, live pitch detection, and metronome practice.

What we may collect

In the current version, TuneHarbor does not require a user account or an in-app sign-up flow.

We may handle the following categories of information:

  • microphone permission status required for live tuning and pitch detection;
  • app preferences stored on your device, such as language, A4 reference, and metronome haptics;
  • support information that you choose to send to us by email.

What we do not do by default

Unless a future feature clearly says otherwise:

  • we do not upload raw microphone recordings to our servers;
  • we do not require you to create an online account;
  • we do not run advertising or cross-app tracking in the current version;
  • we do not sell your personal information.

How audio is handled

Microphone input is processed on your device to estimate pitch in real time.

The current version is designed around local audio handling for:

  • tuner guidance;
  • pitch detector readouts;
  • reference tone playback;
  • metronome playback.

How we use information

We use relevant information only as needed to:

  • provide tuning and live pitch detection features;
  • remember your app language and practice preferences;
  • troubleshoot technical issues;
  • improve reliability and core product quality.

Third-party services

If a future version introduces analytics, crash reporting, or cloud sync services, we will update this policy before or when that change becomes available.

Data retention

Local preferences are generally stored on your device.
If you send support emails, screenshots, or recordings to us, we may retain them for a reasonable period as needed to provide support and investigate issues.
