Welcome to the official support page for WakaTime Widgets.

Product boundary

WakaTime Widgets is an independent client for reviewing your own WakaTime coding stats.

It is not an official WakaTime product and does not handle:

  • WakaTime account registration, subscriptions, or billing;
  • server-side WakaTime delays or upstream data quality issues;
  • questions that belong to WakaTime’s own account or service policies.

If the issue belongs to WakaTime itself, please contact WakaTime through its official support channels first.

When possible, include the following details so we can troubleshoot faster:

  • your iPhone model and iOS version;
  • the current app version;
  • which widget mode or host-app screen was involved;
  • the exact steps that caused the problem;
  • screenshots, screen recordings, or visible error text if available.

Current support scope

We currently focus on helping with:

  • API key save or clear issues;
  • manual refresh failures or stale cache behavior;
  • empty widgets, outdated widgets, or widget mode switching problems;
  • data mismatches between the host app and widget;
  • spoken summary issues inside the host app.

FAQ

Why is the widget empty?

First confirm that you entered a valid WakaTime API key in the host app and completed at least one successful refresh.

Why do I sometimes see old data?

The current version caches the most recent usable snapshot on-device to reduce blank states. If a fresh WakaTime request fails, the UI may fall back to that cached result.

Is this the official WakaTime app?

No. WakaTime Widgets is an independent client for reading your own WakaTime stats.

Can I send WakaTime account or subscription issues here?

Not effectively. For account, subscription, billing, or upstream WakaTime service issues, please use WakaTime’s official support path.

Response expectations

We review support emails within a reasonable time, but we do not currently promise a fixed response SLA.
